Hair Follicle analysis for drug abuse
Hair follicle analysis is well established in forensic toxicology and should be considered in legal matters, specifically in child custody cases. This test can detect drug ingestion for several months and reduces the likelihood of adulteration of sample.
Alcohol Breathalyser
Breathalyser (BAC) and passive tests are conducted for estimating alcohol content. It is perfect for Zero Tolerance alcohol screening when alcohol use is suspected.
Chain of Custody (COC)
All tests include Chain of Custody documentation confirming DATE, TIME, PLACE and OUTCOME results. These are done for control purposes.
Toxicology Laboratory
All ‘NON-NEGATIVE’ tests are referred, where appropriate, for further analysis to our toxicology forensic specialist laboratory for final testing and confirmation.
All laboratory verified test results are legally defensible.
PLEASE NOTE that the initial screening results are for diagnostic information only and cannot be used for medical or legal purposes until it has been confirmed by toxicology laboratory.
The laboratory analysis is performed by using a Gas Chromatography-Mass-Spectrometry (GC-MS), which is more sensitive and specific.
